I created this scrapbook-style animation along with Lou Gardner for the brilliant Providence Row, an incredible charity supporting people affected by homelessness, to mark their 165th anniversary.
Working closely with the charity, we drew from a rich archive of historical material, including photographs, letters, documents, data, and personal stories, to celebrate their long and vital history. I combined these with hand-drawn ink illustrations and playful digital elements designed to look like stickers, all collaged together to form a single animated poster, which we zoom out to see at the end of the video.
The animation was a joy to create, reflecting the resilience and compassion of all of the people involved at the heart of the organisation, both in the past and right now in the present day.
